Guerrieri, Vervisch, Langeveld and Ceccon reprimanded after Suzuka Race 1

Esteban Guerrieri, Frédéric Vervisch, Niels Langeveld and Kevin Ceccon have been reprimanded and given penalty points to their licenses following the first World Touring Car Cup race at Suzuka.

Race winner Guerrieri was reprimanded for not respecting the maximum distance of five car lengths to the safety car.

Comtoyou Racing drivers Langeveld and Vervisch were reprimanded and given penalty points to their licenses for conducting more than two reconnaissance laps before the start of the race. Langeveld was given two penalty points for conducting two extra reconnaissance laps, while Vervisch was given one point for conducting one extra lap.

Alfa Romeo driver Ceccon also completed too many reconnaissance laps and was given a reprimand, as well as one penalty point.
