Thed Björk: “It’s going to be really tough”
Thed Björk missed Q3 by 65 thousands of a second in yesterday’s second World Touring Car Cup qualifying session and predicts three tough races.
“I just couldn’t get it right, we thought that the track was going to dry up, but it just got more greasy,” said Björk to TouringCarTimes.
The Swede is going to start eighth in the first race, fifth in the second and sixth in the third.
“It’s going to be really tough to start from those positions in the races with this short Suzuka circuit. But on the other hand, with the track now dry, everyone starts from zero again,” said Björk.
Björk is placed fourth in the championship, 38 points from championship leader Norbert Michelisz of Hyundai.
“It’s too early to look at the points. It’s just heads down and get on with the job,” said Björk.
