Macau wild card trio penalised, reprimanded

A trio of wild card drivers have come under attention from the World Touring Car Cup stewards following Thursday’s free practice sessions at Macau.

James Tang and Billy Lo have both been hit with five-place grid penalties for the first race of the weekend, and dealt two penalty points each, for failing to slow under yellow flags at Lisboa in FP1.

Furthermore, Arthur Law has been reprimanded for crossing the white line at the pitlane exit in Free Practice 2.

Lo was the fastest of the three drivers in final practice, ending up 27th, some 5.9 seconds adrift of pace-setter Rob Huff.
