Toyota release first renders of 2020 STC2000 Corolla

Toyota Gazoo Racing Argentina has issued a first series of renders of its new 2020 Super TC 2000 Corolla for drivers Matías Rossi, Mariano Altuna, Julián Santero and star newcomer Rubens Barrichello.

The Super TC 2000 organisation has introduced changes for the aerodynamics regulations ahead of the 2020 season, featuring increased downforce that will decrease lap times considerably.

The new race car is based in the latest generation Toyota Corolla that was launched for the Argentine market last November.

The team is currently building six cars, with four for the factory team and the last two Corollas for semi-privateer team Midas Carrera. Their drivers are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

The Super TC 2000 season starts on March 22nd at the Zonda circuit, in San Juan, Argentina.
