Race against time for Cyan Racing to repar Santiago Urrutia’s car for qualifying

Lynk & Co Cyan Racing is racing against time to repair Santiago Urrutia’s car ahead of the World Touring Car Cup qualifying at the Nürburgring Nordschleife following a crash in the final free practice session.

“We are working hard but it looks like we will get the car done in time,” said a Cyan Racing spokesperson to TouringCarTimes.

Urrutia lost control of his Lynk & Co 03 TCR at Schwedenkreuz and hit the barriers at Aremberg, damaging the left front and rear suspension.

“I had a problem with the rear and spun. It was a mistake by me and the team is working on the car now,” said Urrutia, who finished 12th in the first practice session.

The qualifying session starts at 19:00 CEST.
