Gilles Magnus penalised, handing Race 2 pole to Bence Boldizs

Comtoyou Racing driver Gilles Magnus has had his Q1 and Q2 times cancelled as his Audi RS 3 LMS failed a ride height check following the World Touring Car Cup qualifying at the Hungaroring.

Magnus had finished eleventh in the first qualifying session and seventh in the second session.

The penalty elevates Zengo Motorsport driver Bence Boldizs to tenth position in Q2, meaning that he inherits the reversed grid pole position for Race 2 that Lynk & Co Cyan Racing driver Yvan Muller previously held.

Magnus will start all three races from 21st position.
