Tiago Monteiro sent to the back of the grid following engine change

Honda driver Tiago Monteiro will start from the back of the grid in the first World Touring Car Cup race at the Hungaroring.

The penalty comes following a request for an engine change by Münnich Motorsport.

2018 champion Gabriele Tarquini has also had his engine change but will not receive a grid penalty.

The BRC team was forced to change engine following the incident in Race 3 of the Slovakiaring weekend, meaning that force majeure is applied.

Target Competition has been fined 600€, with 1800€ suspended, as their mechanics did not have the correct fireproof equipment and worked on the car during refueling.

Vukovic Motorsport has been fined 600€ as one of their staff smoked in the garage.
