Weight increase for Audi, Cupra, Hyundai and Lynk & Co
The World Touring Car Cup season finale in Spain this weekend will see the cars from Audi, Cupra, Hyundai and Lynk & Co get increased compensation weight, while the Honda cars are alone in getting a weight reduction.
Most weight has been added to the Audi and Hyundai models, both receiving an increase of 30kg compared to the previous round. The Audis will carry a total of 70kg (including the additional 20kg for the older ECU) while the Hyundais will carry 30kg in total.
The Cupra and Lynk & Co cars have had 10kg added for a total of 20kg and 40kg respectively.
The Münnich Motorsport-prepared Hondas are the only cars to have compensation weight removed, running 30kg lighter this weekend for a total of 30kg.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR and Renault Megané RS TCR will remain at 0kg of compensation weight.
