Thed Björk bounces back to head Lynk & Co 1-2-3 in second practice
Thed Björk bounced back to top the second free FIA World Touring Car Cup practice session at Estoril after missing the majority of the first due to an electrical issue.
The Swede headed Lynk & Co colleagues Yvan Muller and Santiago Urrutia with a lap time of 1:45.302, 94 and 96 thousands of a second ahead respectively.
Esteban Guerrieri looked set for a fast last lap of the session, but dropped back in the final sectors to finish fourth, 0.105 from Björk.
His Münnich Motorsport team-mate Néstor Girolami was fifth fastest.
Gabriele Tarquini was fastest of the Hyundai Elantra N TCR drivers in sixth position, 0.173 seconds from the top time.
Reigning champion Yann Ehrlacher and Cupra driver Mikel Azcona rounded off the top eight.
Next up for the WTCR field is qualifying, starting at 15:00 local time.
