Mikel Azcona heads Petr Fulín by 0.07s in first practice at Most
Mikel Azcona headed local hero and guest driver Petr Fulín by seven hundredths of a second in the first free practice session of the FIA World Touring Car Cup weekend at Most in the Czech Republic.
The Spaniard, who is heading to Spain for the TCR Europe finale tomorrow, lapped the circuit in 1:39.654 seconds.
Lynk & Co driver Santiago Urrutia, who is placed second overall, improved to third right at the end of the session, two tenths of a second behind Azcona.
Nathanaël Berthon was fastest of the Audi drivers in fourth position ahead of the Cyan Racing duo of Thed Björk and points leader Yann Ehrlacher, three and four tenths behind respectively.
Gilles Magnus and Hyundai driver Jean-Karl Vernay rounded off the top eight ahead of the Honda duo Néstor Girolami and Esteban Guerrieri.
Yvan Muller hit a tyre stack hard at the end of the session with substantial damage to his Lynk & Co 03 TCR.
