Yvan Muller heads Cyan Racing 1-2 in first Pau-Arnos practice
Yvan Muller headed a Lynk & Co Cyan Racing 1-2 in the first free practice session at Pau-Arnos in France, heading colleague Thed Björk by 0.112 seconds.
Cupra driver Mikel Azcona had an early scare, going off at the high-speed first corner chicane, fortunately missing the barriers and was able to continue the session in tenth place.
Hyundai driver Jean-Karl Vernay was third fastest, just 14 thousands of a second behind Björk.
Esteban Guerrieri headed Münnich Motorsport colleague Attila Tassi in positions four and five, 0.216 and 0.224 seconds behind respectively.
Santiago Urrutia and points leader Yann Ehrlacher occupied positions six and seven, while last race winner Norbert Michelisz rounded off the top eight, 0.428 seconds behind.
Honda driver Néstor Girolami suffered a puncture during the session, ending up in 11th position.
The second practice session starts at 13:00 CEST.
