Jean-Karl Vernay fined 1,000€ for removing his gloves

Team Engstler driver Jean-Karl Vernay has been handed a 1,000€ fine after taking his second victory of the season at Pau Arnos.

The Frenchman removed his gloves during his slow-down lap, causing a “potential safety issue”, according to the stewards.

Other than the fine, Vernay was also given one penalty point.
