Yann Ehrlacher expects “intense” final two race weekends

Yann Ehrlacher had his points lead reduced by four points after the WTCR race weekend at Pau-Arnos and the Lynk & Co driver expects two “intense” final race weekends.

“I’m really pleased to have scored the points, we are still leading while the points gap is getting a bit closer,” said Ehrlacher.

“This will make the work a bit more intense ahead of the last two race weekends that I’m very much looking forward to.”

The Cyan Racing driver finished eighth in the first race and fifth in the second.

His closest rival in the points is Jean-Karl Vernay, who won the second race at Pau-Arnos, 16 points behind.

“We will not change our approach for the coming race, the target is as always on the top and to score as many points as possible,” said Ehrlacher.

The next WTCR race will take place at Adria Raceway in Italy on November 6-7.
