Andy Yan takes the win at Zhuhai

Chang’an Ford FRD Team driver Andy Yan won the second race of the CTCC super production class at the Zhuhai International Circuit

Chen Liu Ping from FRC Racing finished the race eighth and won the super production turbocharged (SPT) class for Suzuki, while Gao Hua Yang and Han Han from Shanghai VW 333 Racing finished second and third in SPT.

In the production class race, Sun Zhang of Haima Z1 Racing claimed the win.

Cui Yue, who started in second place in his Hyundai Elantra, passed Sun soon after the start.

A crash between Ziang Zhi Qiang of Beijing Hyundai Racing and Guo Hai Sheng of Ghiasports resulted in the deployment of the safety car for four laps.

Soon after the restart, Sun re-passed Cui on lap 7 and went on to take the win.

The third round of the CTCC will be held on June 19th at the Chengdu Goldenport Circuit
