Acura’s top the timing at Road Atlanta

Canadian driver Kuno Wittmer and team mate Peter Cunningham set the fastest times in practice for this weekend’s race at Road America.

Series veteran Cunningham, who has won here twice before, the last time in 2002, was just 0.104s slower than his RealTime Racing team mate.

Kuno Wittmer is confident of his set-up:

“This morning, my Acura TSX worked great. Yesterday, in the first test session, we ran well. Then, we tried something [different] for the second session. It didn’t quite work that well. So, we came back to what we had [in yesterday’s first test session] and we’re right on the money.”

Championship leader Jason Saini, for TriPoint Motorsports was only ninth fastest in his Mazda 6.
