19 year old Holbrook readies for WC debut

Shea Holbrook will make her World Challenge Touring Car debut on the streets of St. Petersburg on March 28th. The 19 year old from Groveland, Florida, is preparing for a possible full season entry.

Shea Holbrook has race experience in several junior SCCA formulae, but this will be her first step-up into the Pro Racing category

“This being my first professional race, I have two goals,” Shea said. “First, to bring the car home in one piece and second, for all those veteran drivers out there that read this, regardless of where I finish, I plan on giving you all the respect that you deserve and I’m thankful for having the opportunity.”

Team manager, and father, Jeff Holbrook spoke to Touring Car Times about the team’s goals for the season.
“The car we are running at the St Pete race is actually out of date and we are only allowed to run it at this race and only this race.”, Jeff said. He added:
“We just picked up a newer model car that we plan in building to run more World Challenge races and it would be our intent in running all the races…”

The team confirmed it is still trying to put together a sponsorship package for the season.
