Scion take 1-2 at first heat at the Glen

DG-Spec racing took a 1-2 in the touring class World Challenge race at Watkins Glen, with a win for 18 year old Robert Stout helping him extend his series lead.

Team mate/owner Dan Gardner finished in second place, just under 30 seconds behind Stout in the #36 Scion tC.

Former WTCC driver Alexander Lvov, in his second appearance in the championship, finished third in his Honda Civic to close off the podium.

In a dimisished GTS class, the Real-Time Racing Acura TSX’s dominated, with Peter Cunningham taking the class victory from team mate Nick Esayian. Ernie Jakubowski on his season debut in the Mantis Racing Porsche Cayman would complete the three car entry in GTS.
