CTCC confirms 2012 season calendar

The China Touring Car Championship has confirmed the eight event calendar for its 2012 season, which starts and ends at the Shanghai International Circuit.

The season starts on April 29th at Shanghai International, before heading to Zhuhai and Chengdu in June, Ordos for two rounds on separate weekends in July & August, Guangdong in September, the Tianma Shanghai Circuit in October before returning to Shanghai International on November 4th.

Again an eight event calendar, the only change of event is the dropping of the round at the Beijing Goldenport Circuit, which has been replaced by a second round at Shanghai International.

The CTCC season finale will again support for the FIA World Touring Car Championship’s penultimate round for the second consecutive season, but this time the round will be at Shanghai International instead of the Shanghai Tianma Circuit, which itself was a last minute stand in for the originally scheduled round at Guangdong.
