Jim Ka To scores Guiyang pole for Kia

Jim Ka To has put the Kia K3 on pole position for the third round of the 2017 China Touring Car Championship at the Guizhou Chun Chi International Circuit, outqualifying the three Fords of Martin Cao, James Nash and Rainey He.

Jim was just under two-tenths of a second faster than Cao in the Changan Ford FRD Team Ford Focus, with James Nash the best-placed of the international wild cards in third.

Rainey He was just one-thousandth of a second slower than Ford team-mate Nash, with Macanese driver Rodolfo Avila the fastest of the Volkswagens in fifth, just under half a second off the pace.

Jason Zhang was next in his Kia, leading Dan Lloyd, the fastest of the three BAIC Senova D60s in seventh, just over a second behind, leading team-mate Juan Carlos Zhu.

Yuan Bo was ninth for Kia, with Zheng Zhen Dong completing the top ten in his Volkswagen Lamando GTS.
