Adam Morgan joins Beijing Senova team at Tianma

British Touring Car Championship driver Adam Morgan will race for the Beijing Senova Racing Team at the next round of the China Touring Car Championship at the Tianma circuit in China on July 22nd, joining the team as their international driver this year.

Morgan, who sits second in the BTCC drivers’ standings after four races, last drove in the CTCC two years ago in selected rounds with the SAIC Volkswagen 333 Racing team.

International drivers can take part in up to four events of the eight-race season. Volkswagen’s selected driver this year is 2012 WTCC champion Rob Huff, as it was last year.

The Dongfeng Kia Racing Team’s driver is Swiss Alex Fontana, while the Changan Ford FRD Team are yet to run or reveal their driver. Last year, the Ford drive was alternated between TCR and BTCC regulars James Nash and Dan Lloyd.
