New engine calibration introduced for Hyundai ahead of Slovakia

A new engine calibration has been introduced for the Hyundai i30 N TCR cars ahead of the World Touring Car Cup races at Slovakiaring this weekend.

The cars remain at the 97,5% power level that was introduced for the previous races at the Nürburgring, the weekend when the Hyundai customer teams made their controversial withdrawal from the weekend.

The new engine calibration allows for higher boost in the RPM span of 4000-7000, as seen in the charts below:

It should be noted that potential changes to the ignition are not made public, thus not making it possible to determine any potential change to the power output.
