Engstler Motorsport to run two cars in ETCC

German team Engstler Motorsport will field two BMW 320sis in this year’s European Touring Car Cup for Roland Hertner and Christian Fischer.

German driver Roland Hertner will be competing in his first ETCC, but has good experience with the BMW after winning the 2010 ADAC Procar Series Divison 1 class, which was also run by Liqui Moly Team Engstler. Hertner did not return to defend his title.

His team-mate will be the Swiss driver Christian Fischer, who has competed in the past two years of the ETCC with Rikli Motorsport, behind the wheel of the team’s Honda Accord Euro R.
