Petr Fulín fastest in final practice session at Monza

Petr Fulín was fastest of all in the Saturday free practice session at Monza for Krenek Motorsport. The Czech driver was just over one second faster than the rival BMW 320si of Ibrahim Okyay.

BMWs were the dominant car in the session, occupying the top six spots. Oleg Petrikov was third quickest in the AMG Motorsport BMW, 1.5 seconds off of Fulín’s time, with Fulín’s Krenek team-mate Michal Matekovsky fourth.

The top Single-make Trophy driver was Andreas Pfister. The German was seventh fastest overall in the SEAT Supercopa, just under two-tenths of a second faster than his class rival Jordi Oriola.

Nicolas Hamilton was running in a repaired SEAT Supercopa after damaging the car in the second test session yesterday, and was 18th fastest.

Gille Bruckner was the faster Super 1600 class driver, 26th overall in the Ford Fiesta, with 34 cars taking part in the session.

In the Ladies Cup, Andrina Gugger was fastest of all in the Rikli Motorsport Honda Civic S2000 car, finishing 12th overall, just 0.021 behind her team-mate Peter Rikli. Ulrike Krafft was next in 27th overall in the Ravenol Team San Ford Fiesta, running in S1600.

Qualifying for the first round of the 2013 FIA European Touring Car Cup gets underway at 5pm CET.
