Aurelién Comte leads Salzburg warm up
Galaxy Racing’s Aurelién Comte was fastest in the morning warm up for the FIA European Touring Car Cup races at the Salzburgring ahead of pole-sitter Petr Fulín’s BMW.
The SEAT León Supercopa driver’s best time of 1:30.239 was 0.085 seconds faster than Fulín’s, whilst Jordi Oriola was third fastest as the Single-Make Trophy cars mixed it at the front with the Super 2000 cars.
The second fastest S2000 car was Fulín’s Krenek Motorsport team-mate Michal Matejovsky, who was ahead of Mat’o Homola’s BMW.
Wolfgang Treml was the fastest of the SEAT S2000 drivers in eighth place, ahead of Filip Sladecka’s Alfa Romeo.
Ulrike Krafft was the fastest driver in the Super 1600 class in her Ravenol Team SAN Ford Fiesta, almost a second clear of team-mate Romeo Luciano.
The first race gets underway at 15:20 CET.
