Dusan Borkovic fastest in Hungary warm-up

Dusan Borkovic continued his run of domination which began with Free Practice on Saturday afternoon and continued through to qualifying, with the Serbian leading a pack of six SEAT León Cup Racers during the 15-minute morning warm-up at the Hungaroring.

Borkovic’s time of 1:56.093 was just over a tenth of a second faster than Zengő Motorsport’s driver Ferenc Ficza, with Mat’o Homola third, just under half a second behind.

Petr Fulín, Andreas Pfister and Alexandr Artemyev completed the all Single-Make Trophy class top six, while Liqui Moly Team Engstler’s Davit Kajaia was the quickest of the non SEATs in the TC2T class BMW 320 TC, 1.8 seconds off the pace of Borkovic.

Peter Rikli was the fastest of the normally aspirated TC2 class Super 2000 cars in tenth overall in the Honda Civic FD, whie Ulrike Krafft was the top placed Super 1600 class competitor in the Ravenol Team SAN Ford Fiesta, 16th overall.

The first race is due to get underway at 10:05 CET, with Borkovic on pole position ahead of the Krenek Motorsport SEAT of Petr Fulín.
