Petr Fulin dominates second testing session

Championship leader Petr Fulin topped the timesheets by almost two seconds in the final test session of the FIA ETCC at Slovakiaring. The Czech finished ahead of fellow SEAT driver Mladen Lalusic, with this morning’s pace setter Christjohannes Schreiber in third.

Hungarian driver Norbert Nagy came home fourth ahead of the first non-SEAT driver Kris Richard, who put his Honda Civic TCR in fifth. Fabio Mota came sixth for Lema Racing ahead of team-mate Igor Stefanovski, with Peter Rikli right behind them in the second Honda. Wolfgang Kriegl was ninth ahead of S1600 pace setter Kevin Hilgenhovel in his Peugeot 207 Sport.

Once again several drivers, including this morning’s leader Niklas Mackschin, elected not to go out on track, with just four S1600 cars setting a lap time this afternoon.

Free Practice for the ETCC will start at 9.30 tomorrow, with a 45-minutes session.
