Norbert Michelisz to race in TCR Benelux at Zandvoort

Honda driver in the World Touring Car Championship Norbert Michelisz will participate in the TCR Benelux Series taking place in the Netherlands next month.

The Hungarian, who has been promoted to a works drive with the WTCC outfit this season, will compete at the wheel of a Honda Civic TCR run by Boutsen Ginion Racing. The regional series allows are a car to be shared by two drivers, with Michelisz teaming up with Stéphane Lémeret for the occasion.

Fellow Honda WTCC driver Tiago Monteiro partnered Lémeret at Spa Francorchamps back in May, achieving a race victory.

The launch of the TCR Benelux Series in the Netherlands will take place in Zandvoort from the 15th to the 17th of July, as a support event for the fifth round of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters.
