Kris Richard leads the way in first Imola testing

Rikli Motorsport’s Kris Richard was fastest in the first testing session at Imola, Italy. The Honda driver was eight tenths faster than title rival Petr Fulín in the Krenek Motorsport SEAT León. ASK Lein Racing’s Igor Stefanovski was third in the twin SEAT León.

ETCC returnee Aku Pellinen was fourth fastest in the Rikli Motorsport Honda Civic TCR, ahead of Fulín’s team-mate Christjohannes Schreiber. Fabio Mota finished sixth in the Lema Racing SEAT, ahead of Andreas Pfister and Peter Rikli. Zengo Motorsport’s Norbert Nagy was ninth, while Claudio Truffer completed the top ten in a Rikli Motorsport Honda Civic TCR.

Ford’s Tomas Koreny was fastest in the S1600 class, the Ravenol Motorsport driver six tenths quicker than Tomas Koreny’s Peugeot 207 Sport.

Testing will continue at 18:20 with the second testing session.
