Aku Pellinen fastest in Imola free practice as Petr Fulín gets black flagged

Rikli Motorsport’s Aku Pellinen led the way in today’s free practice session at Imola, Italy. The Finn was six tenths quicker than team-mate Kris Richard, while Petr Fulín finished third in his Krenek Motorsport SEAT despite being black flagged due to repeated track limits infringements.

SEAT’s Igor Stefanovski was a close fourth, ahead of Krenek Motorsport’s Christjohannes Schreiber. Andreas Pfister came sixth in his ADAC Team Hessen-Thuringen SEAT, ahead of Zengo Motorsport’s Norbert Nagy and Lema Racing’s Fabio Mota, both on DSG gearbox-equipped SEAT Leóns.

In the S1600 class Kevin Hilgenhövel was also black flagged, but was still fastest in the session ahead of Ravenol Motorsport’s Niklas Mackschin.

Rikli Motorsport’s Claudio Truffer came ninth ahead of team-mate Peter Rikli, who completed the top ten. Qualifying is scheduled for 16:25 local time.
