Tom Coronel to challenge for 2017 TCR Benelux title with Stéphane Lémeret

Dutch driver Tom Coronel will race in this year’s TCR Benelux series, pairing up with 2016 champion Stéphane Lémeret in a Boutsen-Ginion Racing Honda Civic TCR.

Coronel drove in selected rounds last year’s championship for Bas Koeten Racing, but this year he’ll contest almost the full season, bar one clash, with the Zolder round now taking place on the same weekend as the rescheduled date for the WTCC Race of Argentina.

Lémeret won the inaugural title with a rotating cast of top line team-mates, including Tiago Monteiro, Norbert Michelisz, Kris Richard and Matt Neal.

Boutsen-Ginion Racing will again run two cars this season, with 17-year-old Benjamin Lessennes returning in the team’s second car, with his co-driver still to be finalised.
