Zsolt Szabo gets home race pole as Artemyev penalised

Zsolt Szabo will lead a Zengõ Motorsport front row at the Hungarian round of the ETCC, after Alexandr Artemyev lost all his times after failing to stop at the weightbridge.

Szabo will start from pole position ahead of team-mate Norbert Nagy in the revised order, following Artemyev’s exclusion.

Artemyev will be forced to start from 13th and last after failing to stop at the scrutineering bay, leaving Szabo with his first pole position in his first full year in the championship.

Championship leader Christjohannes Schreiber is promoted to third in the Rikli Motorsport Honda Civic TCN2, despite carrying 40kg of success ballast this weekend after his results at Monza two weeks’ ago.
