No SEAT UK in the ETC Cup!

SEAT Sport UK have confirmed that they will not be on the grid of the European Touring Car Cup at Estoril this weekend. SEAT Sport UK was one of the first to enter the race. Jason Plato was going to drive the race with another never announced driver.

“We had planned to go with two cars and had made the entries. Our final BTCC race at Silverstone, where we won the manufacturers championship, we picked up quite a lot of damage in race two. So reluctantly we had to withdraw our entries,” race team manager Doug Bebb told TouringCarTimes.
