Danish champion Nykjær joins ETC Cup

Newly crowned Danish Touring Car Champion Michel Nykjær will compete in the European Touring Car Cup at Adria in two weeks. The Dane secured the DTC title last weekend at Jyllandsringen, driving his SEAT Léon. But for the ETC Cup Nykjær will not drive his own Léon. GR Asia will run the car and provide the chassis.

Although the engine will the one he used in the Danish championship this year according to our information. The reason for this is most likely due to the running costs of the SEAT engines that are very high.

Nykjær will join fellow Danish drivers Kristian Poulsen, Jens Reno Möller and Henrik Lundgaard in the ETC Cup 2007.
