Michel Nykjær to defend ETC Cup title

Reigning European Touring Car Cup and Danish Touring Car Championship champion Michel Nykjær will try and defend his title during the 2008 ETC Cup. This year the race will be held at Salzburgring in Austria on October 19th.

Currently Nykjær is doing a full season in the DTC. Last year he won the championship in a SEAT Léon, but for the 2008 season he switched to a BMW for Poulsen Motorsport.

Four races have been done this year so far in Denmark and Nykjær is currently sixth in the championship, some 43 points behind the current leader Tom Pedersen.
