Golden Motors to race in ETC Cup

The Russian team Golden Motors have changed their plans. Initially the team would take part in the World Touring Car Championship races at Oschersleben, Imola and Monza. Because of financial reasons the team will instead focus their efforts on the FIA European Touring Car Cup at Salzburg and the Finnish Touring Car Championship.

Both drivers, Andrey Smetsky and Alexander Lvov, will take part in the ETC Cup with a pair of Honda Accord’s.

Lvov is also running for the top three of the Finnish championship. The title has already been decided, but Lvov is third in the championship at the moment with points still to be gained.
