Yokohama confirms 2008 prize money

Yokohama will supply the FIA European Touring Car Cup with prize money. The Japanese tyre manufacturer has supplied the prize money since 2006. A total of 165.000 euro will be awarded to the drivers of S2000, Super Production and S1600.

The prize money will be awarded as follows:

1) YOKOHAMA SUPER 2000 TROPHY
€ 15,000 to the first driver classified
€ 10,000 from the second to the twelfth driver

2) YOKOHAMA SUPER 1600 TROPHY
€ 7,500 to the first driver classified
€ 3,500 from the second to the sixth driver

3) YOKOHAMA SUPER PRODUCTION TROPHY
€ 7,500 to the first driver classified
€ 5,000 to the second driver
€ 2,500 to the third driver

For the drivers to be eligible for the prize money they have to carry the official “Advan/Yokohama” stickers on their cars and have no other tyre manufacturer’s sticker on their car and equipment.
