Michel Nykjær to drive Chevrolet Lacetti

Reigning European Touring Car Cup champion Michel Nykjær will try to defend his title in a Chevrolet Lacetti. The team Chevrolet Motorsport Denmark will run the car at Salzburgring in October.
“The Chevrolet should be strong at Salzburgring and that is why Chevrolet Motorsport Denmark is a good choice for me,” said Nykjær.

The World Touring Car Championship team Ray Mallock Engineering will support the team with engineers.
“RML are very interested in our program for ETC Cup and we are working to get two of their engineers to the race,” said team boss Kent Bo Steffensen.

Nykjær will ahead of the race complete a short test for the Chevrolet-team in Denmark.
“I will drive a short test at Padborg Park. But it will not be until the first practice at Salzburgring that I will really try the Lacetti,” said Nykjær.
