Nogués to drive SEAT in ETC Cup

Thanks to his victory in the SEAT Leon Eurocup Oscar Nogués will take part in the European Touring Car Cup 2008.
“I can proudly say that I am the first champion of this series, but the truth is that it has been a tough and much contested season. I am happy for the victory,” said Nogués.

SEAT has awarded the race winners of the Eurocup during the season with a drive in the World Touring Car Championship in the Sunred privateer SEAT-team.

Nogués took part in the French street race Pau earlier this season. The Spaniard retired from the first race and finished 16th in the second.

Nogués is the first officially confirmed SEAT-driver in the ETC Cup so far.
