Göransson ahead of Engstler & Nogues

Richard Göransson topped the final test before qualifying, setting his best lap so far of the weekend. Franz Engstler was not far behind him, 0.250 seconds behind the Swede. Oscar Nogués is continuously improving his pace, now in third, 0.406 seconds behind Göransson.

Göransson’s team mate Jan Nilsson was once again fourth fastest, only 0.007 seconds behind the time of third placed Nogués.

Tomas Engström, Michel Nykjær, Kristian Poulsen and Jens Reno Möller confirmed the scandinavian domination of the ETC Cup by taking fifth, sixth, seventh and eight.

George Tanev set the ninth fastest time ahead of manufacturer colleagues Cesar Campanico and Mikko Eskelinen.

The session came to a halt once when Fabio Fabiani spun off the track in the first chicane. The session was resumed after the marshals had cleared his BMW 320i Super Production off the track.
