The 2008 FIA European Touring Car Cup is under way at Salzburgring in Austria. The race is the fourth since the start 2005. During the day two free practice sessions were completed ahead of the qualifying session which decided the grid for the first of two races tomorrow.

While the first race grid is decided by the qualifying session, the grid for the second race is not.

The top eight cars from the result list of the first race will start in reverse order while the rest of the cars will start in the order they finished race one in.

The new ETC Cup 2008-champion is decided when adding the results from the first and second race together. The first race starts at 12.00 CET tomorrow and the second race at 15.00. Both races are broadcasted on Eurosport.
