PTCC leader Fontes enters ETC Cup

Current Portuguese Touring Car Championship leader José Pedro Fontes is going to take part in the European Touring Car Cup with the team Sports & You. The Portuguese driver is going to drive a BMW 320si, sponsored by Vodafone Portugal.

The Portuguese has a lot of experience in both racing and rally. Last year he took part in a rally with a Aston Martin DBR9 GT3.

The highlight of his career came in 1997 when he clinched the Portuguese Formula Ford title.

Fontes is the sixth officially confirmed entry for the ETC Cup 2009 which takes place next weekend at the Portuguese track Braga.
