Thompson fastest again, Vaulkhard closes

James Thompson was again fastest in his Hartmann Racing Honda Accord, but only just as head led a trio of Chevrolets – the first of which was Bamboo Engineering’s Harry Vaulkhard.

Reigning champion Michael Nykjaer is his Perfection Racing entry was third fastest just over a second behind, with the second Bamboo car driven by local driver De Costa 4th.

There’s now only one practice session left before the all important qualifying session.

The track was still damp, which is not favouring the BMW drivers – the fastest of which was Franz Engstler in 7th.
