Procar revises 2010 schedule

The German touring championship, the ADAC Procar series, has adjusted it’s calendar for this season – removing the shared round with the ETC Cup at Oschersleben – but adding itself as the WTCC support event at the same circuit in September instead.

The championship starts and ends at Oschersleben as previously scheduled, but now the final round of the season will take place at the slightly later date of October 3rd.

The series now won’t join the new format European Touring Car Cup at Oschersleben anymore, but will instead race at Hockenheim on the same date of May 30th.

Instead, the Procar series will make up part of the FIA WTCC support package, when the WTCC visits Germany on September 5th.

The revised calendar is:

11th April 2010 – Oschersleben
9th May 2010 – Sachsenring
30th May 2010 – Hockenheimring
18th July 2010 – Assen
25th July 2010 – Salzburgring (with European Touring Car Cup)
15h August 2010 – Lausitzring
5th September 2010 – Oschersleben (with World Touring Car Championship)
3rd October 2010 – Oschersleben
