Leidinger awarded pole as Hertner excluded

Rookie Johannes Leidinger will start from pole for the first ADAC Procar race of the day as original pole sitter and series leader Roland Hertner’s times are excluded.

The 23 year old driver, who is currently third in the championship, seven points behind his far more experienced team mate – will start from pole ahead of the other two Liqui Moly Team Engstler BMW’s.

The Division One S2000 class features less cars than at the season opener at Oschersleben, as Yaco Racing have only brought the Auris for Oleg Petrishin, and Rikli Motorsport just the new Civic FD for Peter Rikli – who was unable to set a time in qualifying and so will start last in the imported Japanese tourer.
