Leidinger takes race 1 win at Hockenheim

Johannes Leidinger has won his first race of the year at Hockenheim, leading Oliver Mayer to the finish.

Leidinger was moved up to the front row after pole winner Teregulov and Mayer were given 5 place penalties, and turned it into his maiden victory.

Mayer led for part of the race in his season debut in the Audi A4, but then the Liqui Moly Team Engstler BMW of Leidinger moved into the lead, and finished 2.5s ahead of the Audi driver – with three more Engstler BMW’s filling out the top five.
