Mayer spoils BMW party with race 2 win

Oliver Mayer has made a startling debut appearance in the third round of the ADAC PROCAR series, winning the second race at the Hockenheim circuit.

Mayer lead the way from his front row position, and took the first non Engstler BMW win of the season in the Audi A4’s first appearance in the championship, after missing the first two rounds.

Championship leader Roland Hertner finished second, with race 1 winner Johannes Leidinger third ahead of the other two Engstler BMW drivers.

Andreas Kast completed a pair of victories in Division 3 in his K&K Motorsport Renault Clio.

Guido Thierfelder won in Division 2 in race one in the ETH Tuning Peugeot 207, whilst Ralf Glatzel won in race two in his Glatzel Racing Ford Fiesta ST.
