Tomas Engström parts way with Hartmann Honda

Tomas Engström is going to take part in the FIA European Touring Car Cup with his own team, instead of Hartmann Honda Racing.
“Unfortunately the co-operation with the danes did not turn out to be what we hoped for,” said Engström.

The Swede is instead going to run the Honda Accord he has taken part in the Swedish Touring Car Championship with previously.

“We are going for the title,” said Engström.

JAS Motorsport and Mugen are co-operating with Engström for the ETCC campaign.

“We have a new Mugen engine ahead of the race at Salzburgring,” said Engström.

Engström is currently fourth in the championship on 10 points, six points behind championship leader and previous team mate James Thompson.
