Kruglyk takes first win in Procar at wet Salzburgring

Ukrainian driver Andrii Kruglyk takes first ADAC Procar victory at the Salzburgring in the rain.

Oliver Mayer started from pole position, and when the cars were released from the safety car start, Mayer was unable to fend off the two rear wheel drive BMWs of Kruglyk and Hertner.

Kruglyk took his maiden win in the ADAC Procar series in only his second event of the season with the Tsunami Racing Team. Roland Hertner finished second in the Liqui-Moly Team Engstler BMW, whilst Mayer still finished on the podium in the Audi A4.

Joint-championship leader Johannes Leidinger finished fourth to take the overall lead after the round.

In Division 2, the victory went to Ralf Glatzel in his Ford Fiesta ST, whilst Alf Ahrens took the Division 3 victory in his Renault Clio RS.
