Rossi fastest in rain affected test session

Michaël Rossi topped the final test session at Salzburgring, setting the time 1:39.925. Although there were few drivers taking part in the session due to heavy rain, something that showed when Rossi went off and stranded his SEAT Léon in the gravel trap for the final 20 minutes of the session.

Second fastest was another SEAT, namely Michel Nykjær, over a second behind his team mate.

Ibrahim Okyay was third fastest with 1:43.103 with Wolfgang Treml fourth.
