Romanov takes race one win at Lausitz

Andrei Romanov took the first race victory ahead of a trio of Engstler BMW’s, to repeat the top four wipeout the team acheived at the Salzburgring.

Romanov lead Johannes Leidinger across the line by 4.5 seconds, with Rustem Teregulov in third, after Oliver Mayer who had initially finished third, was hit with a 30 second penalty after the race.

As a result, Peter Rikli enjoyed the best result for the Honda Civic FD with fifth place.

Benedikt Boeckels won from pole in Division 2 in the Leipert Ford Fiesta, whilst Alf Ahrens won in Division 3 in his Renault Clio RS.
